Course Overview: Throughout the four-day session, campers will embark on a journey to discover the art and science of photography. From exploring the rich history of the medium to mastering essential techniques and skills, the curriculum covers a wide range of topics including:

• Introduction to digital photography and camera basics

• Understanding composition, lighting, and perspective

• Exploring different types of photography, from portraits to landscapes

• Hands-on experience with digital cameras and studio lighting equipment

Outdoor Exploration: Set against the scenic backdrop of Eliot, Maine, Arabella Design Studio offers an ideal environment for outdoor exploration and photography. Surrounded by 30 acres of pristine forest, fields, and a tidal pond along the Piscatiqua River, campers will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in nature, capturing the beauty of Southern Maine's landscapes and wildlife. Daily outdoor activities will inspire creativity, observation, and appreciation for the natural world.

Camp Logistics: Arabella Design Studio provides all necessary camera equipment, including digital cameras and studio lighting, ensuring that campers have everything they need to unleash their creativity. However, campers are advised to come prepared with outdoor essentials, including:
